Riders from as far away as Townsville in the north and Albury-Wodonga in the south will descend on the Central Coast of New South Wales on October 3-4 for the 2026 MSCMoto Australian Junior Track Championship.
Over 120 riders will contest 10 championship and three support classes at Allen Park in North Somersby, north-west of Gosford, with plenty of new names set to be installed as Australian champions – while three of last year’s winners will also be back chasing honours in either higher age brackets on a larger capacity machinery.
Jed Fyffe scored a win and second place respectively in the 13-U16 two- and four-stroke classes last year, and his blistering form in the Yamaha Flat Track Nationals entitles him to favoritism in 2026 despite a classy line-up of well-credentialed contenders.
The likes of Hugh Hope-Hodgetts and Hayden Duggan from Forbes, Tommy Wright from Albury-Wodonga, Nate Jaeger from Gunnedah, and Queenslanders Kai Moran and Ryke Haller are all expected to be prominent, as will host club (Central Coast Junior Motorcycle Club) rider Levi Meyn who as an impressive winner of the Central Coast Junior Cup back in June.

Over the past 25 years, junior title meetings have seen the likes of Casey Stoner, Remy Gardner, Darcy Ward, Chris Holder, Jack Miller, Senna Agius, Joel Kelso, Brady Kurtz, Rohan Tungate and Sam Masters pass through their corridors. And more recently, Australian Superbike front-runner Cameron Dunker, recently crowned FIM Bagger World Cup champion Archie McDonald and dual American flat track champion Tom Drane have completed dirt track ‘apprenticeships’.
The inference is clear: the 2026 MSCMoto Australian Junior Track Championship will feature riders who go on to carve out successful and international careers.
All the high-octane and bar-banging action gets underway on Saturday morning from 9am, and on Sunday festivities will also include a parade lap and a rendition of the national anthem before bikes take to the track at 9:30am.
Allen Park is located on Debenham Road, North Somersby, with entry for spectators $10 per vehicle.
