ALL CLASSES STILL OPEN. LATE ENTRIES EXTENDED UNTIL FRIDAY!
MotoStars have confirmed that they are still planning on the originally intended program of events, for Round 2 of the Australian MotoStars Series featuring the Australian Junior Road Racing Championships and the Oceania Junior Cup on the 6/7th of April.
Due to low entries in some classes, and a hoard of riders wanting to enter past the original closing date, MotoStars have extended LATE ENTRIES until Friday this week.
In an effort to engage more competitors in the MotoStars MASTERS class- a class for adults aimed at 600 Supersport and 1000 Superbike competitors, MotoStars has extended the entry to this class with no late fee.
“The AJRC and MotoStars Junior classes have been well received, but we’re disappointed with the senior entries for this round. We considered changing the schedule and replacing some classes with others, but we extended entries for the Juniors at the first round, so it was fair to extend it for the Seniors this time around. There’s never been more opportunities for our riders, big or small, so I’d say get out there and have a go.” MotoStars promoter Damian Cudlin urged.
ABOUT THE SENIOR CLASSES:
The SuperMotoStars Class is an open Supermoto category for all senior competitors. With weather permitting, the Supermoto riders will tackle the Broadford course with the specially prepared dirt section on the infield. 6 riding sessions including 3x feature races will decide who will be the SuperMotoStars Champ.
The MotoStars Seniors class is open to all road bikes up to 400cc and features a mix of 300/400cc Ninjas, R3’s, Moto3 bikes and even the odd 250cc production bike! Competitors from 13 to 103 are eligible to race, so dust the bike off and come and race!
Finally, the new MotoStars Masters Class is aimed at the big bike riders- Supersports and Superbikes, racing together on the technical twisty layout. One event licenes are available on the day, so if you’re a track day regular and ever thought about racing, this is your chance!
