Motorcycling Australia (MA) alongside FIM held an CID Environmental Seminar in Melbourne on August 20-21, and MA are pleased to announce we now have ten new Environmental Stewards.
The two-day Environmental Steward course hosted by Mr Adamo Leonzio from the FIM, covered the 10 golden rules for Environmental Stewards, 2018 Environmental code, 2018 code of ethics as well attendees completed a test at the end to obtain their Environmental Stewards licence.
Motorcycling Australia’s Training and Officials Coordinator, Peter Smith was thrilled with the turnout for the two-day course and sees this as an important step in the sport’s future.
“It’s a great innovative from FIM and MA, we had so many volunteers from far and wide attend the course. A great positive for us was that our volunteers came from many different disciplines, which is great to see. The course is so important to MA as these measure help to build a sustainable future for our sport,” finished Smith.
