AUSTRALIAN SENIOR TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS CONVERGE ON NORTHWEST VICTORIA

All roads lead to Koorlong in country Victoria this weekend for the Mildura Solar Australian Senior Track Championships.
Australia’s best male and female track riders will converge on Jambaroo Park this Saturday and Sunday (August 25 and 26) to contest 11 championship and support class competitions.
Just 15 minutes from Mildura, the event is being proudly hosted by NorthWest Victoria Motorcycle club.
The action-packed weekend will see all heat and repechage races run over 4 laps, while finals will be contested over 6 laps.
Reigning champ in the Pro 450, MX Open and Pro 250 classes, Jarred Brook, said fans will be witness to world-class racing.

At just 21, the Queenslander will also defend his MX Open and Pro 450 titles at the event.
“There will be a lot of good riders in attendance, so all the classes will be strong,” Brook said.
“Jambaroo Park is one of my favourite places to race because it always provides good, close racing.”
The women’s classes will also be hotly contested, with reigning Australian Pro Open champion Briony Hendrickson the one to beat.

Also hailing from the Sunshine State, the 26-year-old is looking to add to her bulging trophy cabinet that also contains Queensland and New South Wales state titles.
“My lead-up to the event has been quite strong and my bike is handling really well, so I’m prepared to do the very best I can,” Hendrickson said.
“Hopefully I can grab that top box.”
