My Mum and Step Dad took me along to watch a race at Wanneroo in 2018 and I decided i’d like to give it a go.
The feeling I get when Im sitting on the line waiting for the flag/gate to drop, its a adrenaline rush. I also love the speed and the feeling of being free.
Go for it, its well worth it. It keeps you fit and focused, you also get an opportunity to join clubs and race with people just like yourself who have the passion to succeed in riding motorcycles.
I always remain positive and set myself realistic goals, and if I fail, then it makes me stronger and to try harder next time around. I always challenge myself each time i ride to do better. I focus on the good and this makes me pretty
resilient to failure. I don't take on others negativity and always look forward to the future, and I'm
grateful for all the opportunities that come to me through the passion i have for motorsport.
That you are good enough, no matter what anyone says. oh and don't spend your time worrying, its only wastes energy.
That women have the same opportunities as men and they become more recognised for there abilities. Also that women increase in participation and more events become available for women.
Well there's a few firstly that I’ve been given the opportunity to race in the ASBK world super bikes in phillip island, this month, considering I’ve only been on a road bike for around 8 hours! Secondly taking out the State Championship in
Supermoto in my first year, against 450’s and I'm riding a 250’s, that was awesome. and thirdly
clearing Rock and Roll at Manjimup 5 months after I started in MX. I just love it all.
Yeah I now work full-time at west coast honda as a T/A in the workshop and hopefully to go onto an apprenticeship as a mechanic, so then i can fix my own bikes. I also love what I do and would like to Thank my sponsors and Road Race Coach for all there support to help me get there. And also a massive shout out to my mum who supports me in my sport and risks it all to make sure i can do what I love. She helps me stay calm and focused
and this wouldn't be possible without her. A little mention to support Autism, this is dedicated for my brother. and to craig who really got me hooked.
