Motorcycling Australia (MA) has expanded the Motorcycling Australia Learning Centre (MALC) with the launch of two additional courses: Common Modules and Clerk of Course. These new offerings further strengthen MA’s commitment to supporting the development and education of officials and coaches within the motorcycling community.
The Common Modules course serves as a foundational prerequisite for all Key Official roles across motorcycle sport. It provides essential knowledge and a standardised base of learning, ensuring consistency and competence among those undertaking official duties at events nationwide.
The Clerk of Course course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform one of the most crucial roles in motorcycle sport. Participants will learn how to oversee the safe and fair running of motorcycle events in accordance with MA’s rules and regulations.
These two new courses join the growing suite of learning courses now available through the MALC, MA’s dedicated online education platform. The full list of currently available courses includes:
- Level 1 Operational Official Course – An introductory program for individuals beginning their journey as an official.
- Club Coach Course – Designed for those looking to develop coaching skills and support rider development at a club level.
- Recreational Supervisor Course – Prepares recreational supervisors to oversee non-competitive riding activities in a safe and structured manner.
- Common Modules – A compulsory course for all officials undertaking Key Official training, that covers items common to all Key Official roles.
- Clerk of Course – Provides advanced training for individuals overseeing and running competitive motorcycle events.
