ASBK reveals 2013 schedule
December 20, 2012

The 2013 QBE Australian Superbike Championship calendar has been released – and we are excited to announce a long awaited return to the magnificently upgraded Eastern Creek.

International Entertainment Group is bringing several new initiatives to the championship in an effort to better entertain, and provide to, riders, sponsors, and fans alike.

“One of the main goals this year is to provide ongoing entertainment for a wider audience whilst ensuring the championship continues to hit the largest crowds domestic racing has seen in over a decade,” quoted IEG’s Yarrive Konsky.

The 2013 schedule will cover five states with a total of seven rounds. We are in search of a new rider to crown as Australian Superbike and Supersport Champion.

The series kicks off in conjunction with the World Superbike Championship and promises to provide the closest 600 Supersport racing ever witnessed as the all-new combined 600 class prepares for its debut. The championship also returns to Tasmania with the illustrious V8 supercars. This event will be huge, as the highly anticipated car of the future will make its debut.

The first stand-alone event returns to award winning Hidden Valley. The Northern Territorians promise another action packed weekend featuring road racing. The entire championship promises action, exposure, prize money, and a whole lot more.

The Australian Superbike Championship is Australia’s premiere motorcycling championship, bringing together Australia’s best riders and leading world-class manufacturers.

The Championship is promoted and organised by International Entertainment Group (IEG) and supported by Motorcycling Australia.
