John Bolitho (Vice President)

John is an experienced lawyer who has practiced in Australia and South Africa, with expertise in personal injury compensation, compensation scheme design, insurance law and litigation. He also has a disability law and human rights law focus.

John has been passionate about motorcycles since childhood.

He has attended motorcycle race meetings all over the world. In his work as a lawyer, John has done his best to influence motorcycle road safety challenges positively for motorcyclists.

John is passionate about road safety and accident prevention. Where that is unachievable, he strives to ensure that those who are severely affected by road trauma are able to return to a dignified and independent existence supported by the best compensation systems countries can afford.


Steve James

Steven has over 25 years experience in financial services and has held variety senior positions in several of the major financial institutions in Australia.


Steve holds a masters degree in financial services law, diploma in financial markets, master stockbroker qualification and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  

Steve is a keen dirt track rider and is looking forward to developing his road racing skills over the next year. Steve is actively working on strategies to increase junior participation in motorcycling as well as increase the safety aspects of the sport where ever possible.

Steve has two young children who have been riding for 4 years coming up through Minikhana and now dirt track ensures he is aware of the issues surrounding junior development and participation.

Michael Strano

Michael is the Senior Producer of Motorsport, Fox Sports Australia.

He has been the producer of On Air Broadcasts for V8 Supercars, Moto GP, World Superbike Championships, Speedway GP, Speedway World Cup and the Troy Bayliss Classic over the past 5 years.

He has a total of 30 years in television production, and is an avid rider and passionate supporter of all two-wheeled racing.


Peter Goddard

Peter needs little introduction to the Motorcycle racing community.


A World Endurance Champion, Australian Road Racing and multiple Dirt Track Champion as well as World Superbike & 500cc GP rider, Peter brings valuable racing and technical knowledge to the Board.

Peter is currently a member of both the Wollongong Motorcycle Club and MA Trials Committees, and is the Managing Director of both OSET Bikes DownUnder and Goddard Racing & Development.
