What sort of membership should I get?

I want to race:

I'm over 16:

You need to join an affiliated club first, then you need to learn the basic rules of racing, and pass a written test. Then you need to pass a simple practical riding test or demonstrate you can control a motorcycle. Your State Controlling Body can tell you about Clubs in your area.

Once you have completed this process, you can apply for a licence. There are several different types of licence available, depending on the level of competition you want to be involved in.

Most clubs have coaches and officials who can help you along the way.

I am a Junior (aged 7 to under 16):

To ensure the safety of junior riders, MA has created a new Junior Coaching Program for all riders aged 7 to under 16.
