Bel-ray to partner the 6 Hour at Oran Park

The 6 Hour are pleased to announce that world leader in lubrication technology Bel-Ray will be the presenting partner for the 2009 6 Hour at Oran Park.

The move is part of a project that will also include track side advertising and corporate hospitality as well as various promotional activities. Bel-ray are the also the current sponsors of the factory Yamaha racing Team.

Speaking about the title sponsorship deal for one of the most heavily anticipated races of the year, Bel-Ray’s Consumer Sales Manager Sean Phillips stated, “We are very happy that a company like Bel-Ray, with a presence in over 60 countries, have come to an agreement with the 6 Hour to use it as a promotional and communication platform.

"It is a particularly interesting agreement for us, as we welcome the opportunity to add to the motorcycling landscape in Australia.

"The 6 Hour is ideal within the sponsorship context, bringing us in direct contact with our customers and providing the ultimate test of man, machine and oil."

Alan Blanco, sponsors and marketing director of the 6 hour, reiterate Sean’s comment.

“With new sponsor interest from within and outside the industry and new team and riders who will compete, we are glad the 6 hour can add something to motorcycle sport event industry in Australia from both corporate and the grass root,” Blanco said.
